8 days ago I have birth naturally to my amazing son. He is my third child but my first natural birth. At the time it was happening I thought I was crazy, but now I'm so glad I stuck with my plan and didn't have any pain meds. I was only in labor for 3 hours and pushed for 4 minutes. It was an amazing experience! The only intervention I had was that my doctor broke my water when it was time for me to push, and I was ok with that since it never broke on its own.

Congratulations, great job!

Babies can actually be born in their sac of water, it's really rare and supposed to be good luck :-)

Congratulations!    :-D    Great news!

(You can leave that water alone next go around too.     No need to break it and it's fun to see if baby will be born in the sac.)

Congrats

No need to break the sac, babies can and are born with whole water sacs. Look up born in caul.

Congrats! My dd was born in the caul. It broke just as my dh brought her up to put her on my chest. My water never breaks on it's own. I'm glad we left it alone this time. Birth was so much easier with that extra cushion.

I would think it would be easier pushing if the sac was broken, i dont know.

I've always had an epidural before so I didn't know what would be easier. Honestly I was in so much pain I just let the Dr do it because I didn't have it in me to argue. My baby was born about 20 minutes after the water was broken.
