I'm so disappointed. I LOOOOVE my mei tai, but Hera is getting big enough that I need to start carrying her on my back, and I can not get a comfy back carry with it. It pulls at my shoulders too much. I even put the ties through the shoulder straps and tie them (to simulate an ssc's clip across the chest) and it still hurts.
So, do you have tips on how to make it more
Comfy?
If not, what is your favorite ssc for a mom and a babe who are thin and have long torsos? I don't like the ergo, thanks to you guys I figured out how to use it easily, but I don't feel like I can get it snug enough.

Yup, I've criss crossed (Love the alien boobs look with that one btw), twisted, and the standard shoulder straps, they all hurt. Crappy boob aesthetics I could get over, but I need something comfy enough to go hiking with (like my ergo) but that doesn't make me feel like she's going to fall out (like my ergo).

Is that good for tall babes? And which one do you like? (that's the brand with different models, right?)
Ugh, I wish I could just try them out before buying them w/o having to join my local bw group.

Good luck! I love the Ergo, so I'm no help :-)

I have the same problem with the mei tei and back carries. I love the Boba. My 3.5 year old is a big kid and I can carry him comfortably. I think the one I have is the 3G. I might have a picture...

Also, I have an ergo too, which I do like, but I do find that they sit much deeper in the Boba.
