Child flu remedies PIOG

My 3 year old has been complaining about chills and body aches all day, and now he has a fever of 102. He's coughing occasionally. I'm hoping it isn't the flu, but it sounds a lot like the start of it!

I made a big batch of elderberry syrup and we've been taking that daily already, but I'm giving him some every couple hours now. He's about to drink some green tea with honey. I'm not sure what else we can do.

When does it get worrisome? What else can I do to stop this from getting bad?

you can get oscillococcinum from the pharmacy (not prescription) to help with side effects of the flu. you can also give liquid d3 to  help his immune system...that's about all I have to suggest!

not sure what supplements you're using daily, but here we use juice plus, fish oil, vitamin d3, and probiotics during flu season.

if we get sick with flu-like symptoms i add to that oscillococcinum and sodium ascorbate. echinacea and/or elderberry teas are good, too. hope your little one is feeling better soon!
