Since my son has started going to school, can I say "HOLY SUGAR HELL!!!!" There was a week with three birthdays and he came home so sugared up the meltdowns and tanturms were H O R R I B L E . I have also noticed that since he's been getting it more at school, he can't handle it and dd follows in his footsteps. I made cookies the other day (plain ole choc chip), they each had one. Within 30 mins they each had sugar rage. It was insane! I tucked them away for dh and made a sugar free batch with orange and cranberry.
Holy Toledo! How the heck do I deal with him getting sugared at school, other than not sending in all that crap when it's his birthday?? (Have a fantastic fruit platter idea for his.)
Good luck!
Could it be the type of sugar maybe?

Sorry, idk. Luckily my kids behavior has never been affected by the rare sugar treat days.
Good luck!
Same here.. the occasional sweet treat never gave my children issues, either.
