This is my third pregnancy. my first i ended with a c-section. my platelets were really low by the time i delivered my ds (about 54). my second pregnancy was a hospital vbac. platelets were low again but not as low (in the low 80's) by the time i delivered dd. with both pregnancies the plateletcount started dropping right away and slowly got lower and lower. with this pregnancy i got a kidney infection at 20weeks. they did blood work then and my platelets were normal. my midwife wanted me to get blood work done yesterday (36ish weeks) to see where my platelet was. i got the results today...56. if they hit 50 i cant have a homebirth and if they get around 52/51 she may want me to have a hospital birth just in case. i might cry. i was so excited when they were normal at 20 weeks i figured if they were low they would still be in the 80's and i would have no issues getting my homebirth....but im looking at a very real possibility of having to go to a dr :(

I hope they go back up is there anything you can do to raise them?

Its amazing stuff lol :) I never heard of it either until my last pregnancy when my midwife told me about it, she has her clients take it... anyway, here is a good article about it! http://www.energiseforlife.com/wordpress/2009/02/11/health-benefits-of-liquid-chlorophyll/ sorry I don't know how to make it a clicky :( but if you do get some, it WILL turn your teeth green....and anything else that it touches LOL
Quoting rmgriffberg:never heard of it
Quoting MDWife12:
:( have you tried liquid chlorophyl?! hopefully you get your home birth!

NO you can have Vbac even after 2 csections..which she only had one
Quoting VladimirsMama:Usually you would get another c-section because you had two already.
Good luck hope you get that home birth you want!
