And the basement flooded...with sewer water!
Sooooo gross!!! There was a blockage on our street and it backed up into our basement through the drain. Thankfully we do not have to clean it and since we are smart people and had everything in plastic totes (we have been through flooding before and learned our lesson) our losses are very minimal. I will have people tramping through the house the next few days but that is better than cleaning the mess myself!!

Yuck.
Have you called the city? When that happened in our house the city paid to have it cleaned.

We did call the city. Apparently there was a blockage on our street and several homes were flooded. I am hoping the city pays for it because it is a mess!
