Teeth question

My 6 year old has tartar on the back of her bottom teeth (hereditary, thanks dh) other than that the dentist raves about them because of the uprise in cavities in children. Any who, it turned black which I read is from blood staining it. What is the best toothpaste I can use for her? And electric toothbrush to help get it? We go for a check up next month, is there need to do in earlier?

I can't say I know much about this, my oldest child is only 5.  But I know all the kids love their electric toothbrush, I just get any fun design and they work good.

We use Tom's toothpaste.  We've never had electric toothbrushes.

Tartar on the back of the front teeth is pretty common.

Did you decide to bring them in earlier?

We use Jasons toothpaste. I've never tried electric toothbrushes before so IDK =(

Nah, I just will wait until march to take her in. But she does need new toothpaste now. Leaning towards the electric toothbrush. Even her dentist has suggested it for her tartar. She lost a tooth last night, if I was really on the ball, I would have gotten an electric toothbrush from the tooth fairy. Lol. But the tooth dairy is cheap :)

The electric toothbrush is good for people who don't remember floss regularly (often children) Investing in a good quality one (like a sonicare) is worth it If you do go that route.
