EO's & Vinegar

So I am going to start using vinegar as fabric softener and I was wondering if I could put my choice of EO's in a whole gallon of vinegar without the vinegar breaking down the EO.. DH wants the clothes to "smell clean" & not like "air"..
Thanks ladies!

my mom puts, i think, lavendar in her vinegar as fabric softener, just a few drops in a whole gal does really well. but that will still rinse out for the most part, do you use dryer balls? if yes, add EO to those, that would be more effective for scented clothes :)

I put EOs on a damp wash cloth in the dryer and that helps too. Helps with static also.
Just no colored oils, they could stain.

I've always just put a few drops on a cloth wipe and thrown it in the dryer with the clothes, never tried adding it to vinegar except for cleaning.

That's a great idea!
I have a few baby washcloths that we don't ever use, but I don't want to waste them either, so they just take up room in a drawer, lol, this will be their new job=)

I use bouncing woolies drier balls to soften and "freshen" my clothes. And, if your CD it makes natural fibers really soft!

Crunchy Clean sells EO blends for vinegar laundry softners..I like pink sugar :)
