Natural Birth & Parenting Natural Birth & Parenting

Hey everyone!

I didn't get a homebirth with my son, but we're going to plan for one this time around.

I was just wondering if I should pack some bags for the hospital in the event of an emergency?

I would advice to prepare a little must-have bag, just to remain calm and be sure that everything is prepare in a best way possible.

I had my babies at a birth center, but I still didn't need a bag.  The one thing we did do, and ended up needing for my first birth, was put my ID and insurance card in DH's wallet so he had it in case we ended up with a hospital transfer.  It's not something you want to be scrambling for in an emergency.

I suppose you can if you want to be super prepared.
