Can someone tell me what the best tea is for a nasty cough, congestion and sore thoat? i am 14 weeks pregnant. Any suggestions for sweet relief would be appreciated :)
I like one called Throat Coat made by Traditional Medicinals. You can buy it at Target and a lot of grocery store. I checked the box and from what I know it's safe for pregnancy but I definitely could be wrong you might want to double check.
It has licorice root, slippery elm bark, marshmallow root, wild cherry bark, bitter fennel fruit, cinnamon bark, and sweet orange peel.
Otherwise any basic tea with some raw honey help too. Hope you feel better soon!
And raw honey is great for healing sore throats.
Quoting Amycapl:mostly chest. my nose is stuffy too, but my head doesn't really feel stuffed
Quoting jellyphish:
Chest or sinus congestion?
I second Throat Coat. It's on sale at Whole Foods right now too.
Quoting jellyphish: Traditional Medicinals has a tea called Breathe Right that's great for chest congestion. A neti pot is fantastic for sinus congestion/ pressure to even allergies. And raw honey is great for healing sore throats.
