Natural cure for scabies? Sinus infections?

Posted by   + Show Post
I'm struggling with the fact that my child potentially has scabies. I know the doctor is going to prescribe a medicinal cream and I'm hesitant to use that if there is something natural I can use. We both are suffering from sinus infections as well and need some relief! Any advice?

I went to three different health food stores last night trying to find a product containing neem, and was unsuccessful. I ended up using clove oil and almond oil. Every bump or 'dot' that he had disappeared but he is still violently itching. I'm going to try to find neem products at a larger store tonight, and if it doesn't work I have to take him to the doctor. It's so bad that he can't sleep at night.

Check out naturasil.com.  They have some great scabies treatments.  Tea tree and neem oil are the go-tos for scabies infections.  It is a bit more work than the one time (hopefully) dose of prescription scabies cream.

For sinus infections nasal irrigation is key.  For my son we do a lot of saline spray each day and I also give him elderberry syrup.  For me, I rinse with a neti pot.  Oil of oregano (if you're not pregnant) and eucalyptus oils are excellent for sinus issues.  I mix the two in some coconut oil and rub them on my son's feet before bed.  For a lingering cough from post nasal drip I love lympha rub from trilight health.  I use an EO diffuser by my bed with eucalyptus oil at night when my sinuses act up.

I ended up using clove oil last night and every bump he had disappeared...but he still has terrible itching. I'm going to look for a product with neem in it today and see if that helps. It's so bad that he can't sleep at night so we really need some relief. I really appreciate all of your suggestions and I'm also going to look for a diffuser today.

I found this

New Scabies StudyResearchers from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (Dr. Cielo Pasay) performed a clinical study on the effectiveness of Clove Oil in killing scabies mites. It killed the mite within 15 minutes of placing it in the oil. SO FAR, THIS IS THE ONLY ESSENTIAL OIL CLINICALLY PROVEN TO KILL SCABIES. All the previous studies on tea tree oil etc. have been proven NOT to work!I do NOT recommend using it straight. You need to have done spot testing! IT IS VERY POTENT and can irritate or damage the skin of persons that are sensitive to it.I used clove oil straight on my skin and it was VERY EFFECTIVE! I did, however, do extensive spot testing on my skin before I applied it straight. Clove oil paired with DE (food grade) applied to the skin every single day for a solid month! I took ivermectin (horse paste) every 2 or 3 days internally as well. After almost a year of using every kind of poison and treatments known to man. I saw all kinds of specialists including Dermatologists and an Infectious Disease Specialist. The Infectious Disease MD practices at one of the TOP rated hospitals in the US. NOTHING worked!Ivermectin should be taken internally (I used the horse paste), along with clove oil and DE applied externally to the skin.Take this information and do with it as you please. It is given as truth in its effectiveness concerning my case.I must say that for me, MY CURE was an answer to much prayer, fasting, and leaning into God. I give Him all the credit and all the glory! For unbelievers, Ivermectin internally, and the Clove Oil and DE externally are proven to be very effective.ps...there is no resistance built up from clove oil (a natural substance).

I'm not sure. I guess it depends what is causing the itch. Try googling what essential oils to use for scabies.

Does it help with itching?

Good luck. We love it. My neice had painful warts on her feet and thieves instantly stopped the pain. I'm hoping it will cure them in a couple of weeks. You can also mix half n half with a carrier oil and use it as chest rub for your sinuses.
