I've been interested in going "no-poo" for awhile and I've found 2 different ways: either using castile soap(diluted 1:1 with water) or using baking soda. Both suggest following with an acv rinse. So which would be better: castile or bs?? And any other tips or info on going no-poo would be appreciated too :)

i tried bs and hated it. i have found that using a sodium free (bs is basically salt) shampoo is a better option for me. it has taken a few weeks but i can see a huge difference in my hair. i use renpure organics argan oil shampoo and conditioner and LOVE it! there is nothing bad in it its all coconut oil and good stuff.

I see you are on mobile so a long reply might be a pain, but if possible would you share more specifics about the proportions you are using? thanks!

Its an all natural soap that is supposed to dissolve dirt rather than cut through it like normal store-bought soaps. I found different blogs about using it as a shampoo, either dilute it with water, tea, or even coconut milk.
Btw, what portions of bs do you use?

I've tried bs but have hard water and it didn't go so well.  So I would say try castile soap.
