Yuck! I need some natural way to clean my son's toy

My 20 month old has the Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout and it got peed on. I can't throw it in the wash because of the music box inside of it. I can't buy another one because they don't sell them anymore.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the smell out?
It's his favorite nap and bedtime lovey, so I can't just throw it out :(

1 mom liked this
Get a cleaner like Bac Out. It has enzymes in it. I used it to get cat pee out of something once.

Is it plush? Does the box come out?

I had a favorite swan toy with a music box in it, my mom had to throw it in the washer it was so dirty. she figured if the music box stopped working, at least I'd still have my sheena. To this day it still works perfectly. So it may not hurt to put this in the washer.

I'd try bac out or a vinegar surface wash

I was thinking vinegar also. Do you think acv would be ok or should I use regular white vinegar?

And sunshine. I would clean it with ACV and set it out in the sun.
