Are you a label reader?

A few years ago when I was trying to lose weight, I was really good about reading labels, then I stopped. I've started reading more labels again, trying to avoid a lot of stuff.

I read ingredients in everything. Not the nutritional facts.

I read EVERYTHING, I have to, since cutting out chemicals and eating clean for just a short time my body began rejecting all unnatural stuff and I have been in the hospital because of it twice so I read any labels and I pay close attention to non-GMO's.  It gets frustrating every time I shop because even in the same brand they will have something I can buy right next to one I cant (cereal is where I found this out). And I also read labels because I want to know what I am eating, when it says "natural flavor" I want to know what that flavor is because if they dont want me to know I dont want to eat it. That always makes me think of the news piece i saw not too long ago about raspberry "flavor" coming from the anal glands of beavers and now when i see that term that is all I can picture lol

I read ingredient labels, but most of the food we eat doesn't have any kind of label, its grown:)

1 mom liked this

lol. my dh doesn't mind going, but i don't think he understands what i am doing. i think he thinks that i just like to buy more expensive stuff just for shits and giggles. lol. when he goes to the store to just pick something up he gets the cheap crap with like 30+ ingrediants. loaded with hfcs and all that. then he gets home with it and i read the lable and complain and he gets pissed off. lol. he just won't read the lable.
