My son is 2 years old, with a half assed circ (before I knew more about it). Now he still has a lot of foreskin left and I have been thankful that he does, but yesterday it swelled to 3X it's normal size over the course of his nap. Screaming, red, inflamed, walking with a wide waddle. We went to the ER and his pedi's office, They want me to do sitz baths 3X a day but I was wondering if any of you have added apple cider vinegar to something like this? My pedi didn't know anything about it so she didn't recommend it...but I think all of us can relate on some level to that.

Any suggestions?

Update:

Thank you everyone for suggestions and concerns. He has kept me busy busy busy! He is feeling better, 4X a day sitz baths with tea tree oil- the swelling is way down, redness is almost gone and it doesn't hurt to pee anymore! Hooray! It was a miserable few days, though. Poor bubs wouldn't climb off my lap for anything.

Acv might sting, I know it does for yeast infections. I'd add tea tree oil instead.

And of course I used the last of my tea tree oil this weekend warding off ants at the front door. Ugh! Out to the store I go! Thanks for the advice :)
