My dd is almost 5 months old. I know we are going to hold off on solids until later, and I want to skip purées altogether. But idk much about Baby led solids. Where can I find good info on BLS?

I think there's a website babyledsolids.com or babyledweaning? Not sure the exact URL.

I also really liked the book Baby Led Solids, which I found at my public library or your local LLL group might have in their library.

The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding also has a great section on solids.

I waited until my kids were sitting completely unassisted, using the pincer grasp, and able to feed themselves. That was from 8-10 months old.

I started giving whole food(bananas, avocado, sweet potato) around 8 months. He broke out in a rash so I waited til 9 months and he did fine.
