Anyone else having a healthy or sugar-free Easter?

This year we are on GAPS so we won't be doing any candy. It won't be a big shock to the kids because we have cut back on the candy for Easter in previous years.

Are you doing a healthier Easter? Going candy free or trying to avoid it?

What are some ideas you have to give instead of candy?

I'm making the kids hula hoops for Easter. We are going to give them organic seeds to help plant and probably a small toy.

I have a lot of plastic eggs that I got on sale last year. We will dye our own eggs with veggies like last year. And I'm going to fill the eggs with money and stickers. I'm going try to find those little tiny bottles of bubbles to put in their basket too. I think they'll still have a blast!

I dont know what we are doing. We are diary free now and my sister invited us to her fils party. It will be so hard for the kids not not get to eat all the stuff they have, so I dont know what to do yet.

We don't do candy. I put Annie's snack in some, change, stickers, fake tattoos, bouncy balls

I do Amy's bunnies, this year I'm going to attempt making cadberry bunnies with coconut cream for the filling, well see how it goes I guess. And I'm going to do eggs this year for the first time ever, so that by itself should be fun.

Can you have sugar subs like honey or maple syrup?

I am going to do new shoes for the kids, bubbles, chalk, flower seeds, and Annie's snacks (they are bunny shaped so it's perfect for Easter), I might do a few pieces of Easter themed candy as well- the tiny egg carton of bubblegum was ways my favorite as a kid so I want to do those for sure:)

We do a low sugar ostara (pagan holiday near easter).  The kids gets 1-2 small candy items, crayons, coloring books, and a few other small toys.

We will have 2 egg hunts and a basket for them. The first egg hunt is at the grandparents' house and will have plastic eggs filled with blueberries, blackberries, other berries. The second egg hunt is at the great-grandparents' house and will be colored boiled eggs.

My two will each have an Easter basket with a new swimsuit, towel, floaties, and possibly footwear.
