It's a blood cleaner... My sis took it prior to a blood test to get better results ( she thought she had lymes but it's hard to test for it without treating it first) the charcoal helped get a positive result on a test with a ton of false negatives.

I've been told it's great for stomach bugs including diarrhea and vomiting.

It is supposed to help draw out infection when used as a poultice, although I've never used it that way.  I do keep it on hand for gas and poisoning.  It came in handy 2 years ago when the stupid dog got into the fudge that I made for my daughter's teachers for Christmas.  After I got her to throw it up (she ate a half of pound of fudge) with peroxide, the info I got on the 'net was to give her activated charcoal to help absorb any remaining theobromine (the stuff in chocolate that is toxic to dogs) in the blood stream.   She's still with us.

How do you want to use it? It can be good for detoxing and pulling things towards it to exit the body through bowel movements. I know many people use it to get through detox periods because it helps the side effects from the detox
