Hello. I have been in this group before, but took a very long break from social sites due to hectic home life. I am back now :)
My name is Amber and I will be 27 in a couple weeks and I am due with my 3rd baby May 19th(ish). I have a 7 year old (vaginal, but not natural birth) and a 2 year old (natural birth). They are both boys. I am due with my last child and its a girl. We are also planning a natural birth again. I am a carrier for a bleeding disorder called hemophilia, so due to risks for the baby, we are planning another hospital birth with a group of midwives.
i am so glad to be back in this group.

Welcome back and congrats on your pregnancy!

Have all your babies been born at the same hospital or with the same midwife group?

Congrats on your pregnancy.

How does having the blood disorder affect your pregnancy, if you don't mind me asking?

Its more risk to baby than me. basically hemophilia is where you are missing a protein factor in your blood that helps you naturally clot. i am a carrier, it usually effects boys more often, but it can still effect a girl. I am birthing in the hospital because if I end up with a hard labor bruising that wouldnt really be concerning on a normal baby's head from birth can be in an effected hemophiliac. the specialists work right out of this hospital in the childrens wing and will be on call just in case something happens. Granted, my toddler who is effected, was perfectly fine at birth. We didnt even know about his disorder until he was 8 months old because he is intact.
