Anybody else struggle to get an agent? I found one who uses a very nice process at WL Children's Literary AGency. Just type that in and read about it, and see if you like it. I mainly wrote magazine articles for years, but when I finally wrote a children's book, the agent process had been really underestimated. It was very difficult. I like these folks and signed with them. Thought I'd share it in case someone else needed it. Best wishes to everybody on their writing efforts.

Hi PrinessNicole:
I just wanted to thank you for the information you provided on the W L Children's Literary Agency. And, I Agree with you 100%. Writers should be as protective of their hard work as well as their money. If the agency asks for money, its good to assume they are not legitimate. Their pay in representing writers will come from what the authors earn. These type of agencies can very well make a tremendous and luxurious living from fees of overly enthused writers. Safeguard your work as well as yourself. Yes, its difficult finding a reputable agent. I,myself is still in search of one. But, please do not let anyone get over on you!

Hi All!
My name is Michelle, and I have authored two textbooks.
I currently have an agent pitching my non-fiction book to publishers.
My advice on landing an agent? Read all the books you can on getting published, writing book proposals, writing query letters, finding agents, etc..., etc...
Write a kick-ass query letter that will grab the agent with your first line!
