Lekotek program

I signed up for the Lekotek program through zachery's school last month. Does anyone else use this program? Just curious..

Yes, my son Robbie was in the Lekotek program last summer, and loved it!!  We got into it through our local Easter Seals office.  We had to discontinue it because it got to be a little more expensive than we could handle.  Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't cover their services.  I hope you have a good experience with Lekotek!!!

Would the new insurance laws help in this area?

I was referred by zachery's teacher.  She works for the Rockford Public Schools. She is at fairview 15 hrs a week.  We have another appointment with her in the coming weeks.  They loan out certian toys for a month to use.  Like a play therapy thing at home.  You play with your child with the toys for 30 min. at a time, and only those toys.  I'm not sure about the insurance part.  She didn't ask me about my insurance.
