We live in Travis AFB (Fairfield) but we're currently staying in Tucson, AZ for six months while the husband is on a deployment overseas. Hope to go back soon, because it's super hot over here!!!

Hi all, I'm in Fairfield, CA. To answer the fun on a budget question.....the zoo in Sac is small, but it's a nice weekend day out that's affordable. There is also a kiddy park across the street from the Sac Zoo that is really cheap (sorry, cannot remember the name of it). Also, the Nut Tree can be affordable too, during the week is a lot better though. My daughter was only 18 months when we took her there and she had a BLAST. They have toddler and bigger kid rides. Glad to meet everyone!

I live in Fairfield, CA. It's about thirty minutes from where you live. I go to Sonoma every now and then. It's a great little place!
