Im a nutriton major working on a case study on celiac disease.  I have most of the "hard" stuff done but I have a menu I need to reveiw.  If you have any input on the following items it would be greatly appreciated.

Campbells cream of mushroom soup

decaf coffee

instant vanilla pudding

hersheys chocolate syrup

My son has several food allergies, luckily for us gluten isnt a problem though, so I know that sometimes things hide in places you wouldnt expect them.

Thanks in advance, Chandra

Hi I have celiac disease.... it is so hard, I seem like they sneak it into stuff so often.

Campbells cream of mushroom soup   it has gluten unfortunatey....as do all soups it seems.

decaf coffee   unflavored should be ok.

instant vanilla pudding   most are good

hersheys chocolate syrup   this I am glad to say is safe as far as I know!!!

I am not 100% on these but if you go to celiac.com there maybe some help there......

Good luck. Daneene

I have been where you are, I also have a nutrition degree. If you look on my website there are several resources for celiac disease

Progresso mushroom soup is gluten free

there are many GF soups that progresso makes, chicken and rice, split pea and ham, harty clam chowder, creamychicken and wild rice, lentil.....they say on their label if there is wheat in the poduct they do not hide it.

Hersheys syrup is gluten free

Hunts pudding is gluten free, NOT kraft

cofee is Gf as long as it is just beans, international coffee also has GF selections

I was told that most instant puddings do have flour in them. The only puddings that my DH can have are the non-instant type that have to be cooked. If there is a brand that he can have, especially chocolate, that would be a fun surprise to give him.

Even when the rain falls, even when the flood starts rising, even when the storm comes, I am washed by the water.

Jello brand instant pudding is Gf so is Hunts ready made, NOT Kraft.

One recipe my kids love is pistachio instant jello brand pudding (just the powder) mixed with small container of cool whip, then add one can crushed pineapple (juice included), fold in 1/12-2 cups minniature marshmallows, my kids love this fluffy salad.
