Would someone mind testing my pattern please? I need to know if it makes sense to others and if there are any changes you would suggest... Thank you!

Row 8: Slip stitch into the second shell space from the hook. Chain 3. Shell into that space and into the next 6 spaces. Skip the next two shells and join to close row.

Row 9: Slip stitch into the next chain one space. Shell in that space and each chain one space around.

Row 10: Repeat Row 9.

Row 11: Repeat Row 9. Finish off and weave in ends.

Optional Ruffles:

Row 12: Slip stitch into the next chain 1 space. Chain 3.  Ruffle shell into each of the chain 1 spaces around. Join to close row. Finish off and weave in ends.

Turn your work over so you are working into the bottom HDC's. Attach your yarn to any space with a shell in it. Chain 3. Ruffle shell into every other chain 1 space (this should line up with the shells from Row 2). Finish off and weave in ends.

I am going to have to try this later.  I haven't crocheted in a while.  This would be a good pattern to try.
