After physical therapy for several weeks DH is up and taking long walks. Every day I see him gain more strength. We are planning a big 50th wedding celebration Dec 18th and for a long time I felt we would not be able to do it. Now it looks like we can. The next two months will be very busy for us. First we plan a trip to OK to be with Mom when she celebrates her 91st birthday then back home to plan and cook for 45 guests for Thanksgiving.( we use a church fellowship hall)  then the wedding anniversary where we will renew our vows. So if I am absent know I am thinking of all of you.

We are back from Oklahoma exhausted. At our age it is hard to sleep in motels. Doug did great. He was sick several days with stomach upset. We stayed one day longer than we planed so he could recover. I didn't complain as I got to stay longer with Mom. For 91 she is doing good. As a bonus I got to see many relatives who also traveled for her birthday. Now on to cooking for a crowd for Thanksgiving. I wish each of you a very blessed Thanksgiving.

I am sorry that hubby was sick, but it sounds like you had a great time.  Your posts have been so encouraging lately.  I am so glad things are going well for you and Doug.

Have a great Thanksgiving.  I'm thankful for your friendship.
