Hello everyone well I am at my 3 week recovery mark so the doctors have taken me off of all my pain meds and I can concentrate again. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Years. We are now in 2010. We have a few new comers and I would like to welcome you all to the group.
Also with the new year I would like to hear from you all and find out what topics you would like to discuss or how we can get this group more active?

Hello! I am new... My name is Violet. I am currently living back home in Illinois while my husband is deployed. He is reenlisting and we will be headed to Ft. Campbell by the end of the year. Right now our duty station is Ft. Bragg, NC.
More about me as a person... I am 22 years old, and my husband is 25. We both grew up here in Illinois, although we didn't meet until 2005. He had just returned home from his 2nd deployment to Iraq. We have a son, Landon, who is 3 years old, and a newborn daughter, Addison, born November 24th. We have been married just over a year.
I hope to get to know some of you, and I can't wait to join the Ft. Campbell community!!

Hello how is everyone. Some of the topics I would like to discuss are private vs public schools since I have a 4 year old entering kindergarten this summer. Other topics that interests me are how other military spouses cope with the long distant relationships and what their method of communication is with their deployed spouses. Also if anyone would like to plan shopping trips to outlets malls, that could be fun.
Welcome, these are really good ideas I will start working on this thank you.
