I was just asked how it was I found a therapist that specializes in adoption. I was lucky enough to have been referred by a therapist from my works EAS.
I thought it would be useful If there was a list of known adoption therapists. So I'll start it off and you guys can add to it as you find people and don't forget to add the state they practice in.
One thing to remember is that everyone in the adoption community knows each other so if you don't see one in your city email one of them and ask if they know of anyone.
Also I know Nancy Verrier does phone counseling.
I'll start with her:

I've been hearing some very troubling things about Joe Soll especially from adoptees. So I'm not going to endorse or recommend him. Just be aware he exists and tread warily with him if you use him:

She doesn't necessarily specialize in adoption, but is an excellent counselor. She does however specialize in grieving and has worked with many birth moms and mom's who have lost their kids to death or a kidnapping.
She's great!
But I think I'm the only one on here from Idaho.
