Dog Food

What type of dog food do you use?
My dogs seem to always be blowing very stinky farts!!!  : (
I used Purina Puppy Chow and Purina FIt and Trim for my 3 year old that needs to loose a few pounds.

We use a high protein food. Right now it's Kibbles n Bits. But the farts are stinky! Maybe that's just the way they are!LOL

I use Beneful. I was using the original one, but he needs to lose a few pounds also. I mix his with a little bit of canned food. One of the problems with Weimaraners is that they are prone to bloat. I've always mixed half and half. The only time he gets really stinky is if he gets into any of our food (which he steals every chance he gets or the cat's food.)

I have two Weims and owned other breeds before the Weims and I have never had a dog that didn't blow stinky gas!  I had to laugh at this one, I love it!  NOT the farts but just the whole subject, I'm hoping that someone has a great cure for this! C

I have always fed all my dogs IAMS.  No stinky gas, less poop.  It is the best.  (No, I do not own stock in the company  :)

I give both of my dogs Naturo Max (sp?).  It's a bit expensive, but I have noticed a difference in their droppings and how soft their fur feels.

I so agree....the stools are much better and smaller.... adn my girls farts stink horriably they smell more than my husband lol
