Hi..... I have a male weim that we got about 6 years ago.... we got him to breed with my female and they had two litters.... he was very shy when we got him and we were told he was a breeder from a puppy mill...... he does not know any commands but overall is a good dog.... we had tried to house break him but it did not workout ..... he has always been a back yard dog.... he is pretty content to just hang out..... we take him on walks sometimes and he does walk well......I am afraid he is getting lonely we lost our female in Dec and then had a baby so I don't have quiet a much time as we used to..... he is unnuetered......and he is probably 8 years old or so if anyone is interested let me know.....I live in the DFW area....

 they have a weim rescue that is in TX area that you could contact. i'm not sure the name of it though... you would have to google weim rescue groups in that area.

Please contact them - this dog will not stand a chance if just given away - he is 8 years old, unneutered, knows NO commands, is NOT housebroken, and has been kept outside his entire life.  Please do the right thing so he may stand a chance at enjoying his golden years!

I wouldn't just give him away... I only posted on here for true weim lovers whom I would make sure would be a great fit for him.... he is enjoying his golden years with me and I would rather keep him then send him though a rescue group where he could be kept in a kennel and fostered out to different homes before getting to settle in somehwere again.... I just took a chance to see if there was someone nearby looking for an older weim to enjoy for a few years.....
