HELP... Bobbin HOOK issues!

I have only had my machine for about 2 weeks and embroidered 3 things on it...the needle kept breaking...i opened the bobbin casing area and noticed that the black part that pops out (the part that holds and bobbin/casing) is all rugged looking...looks like it has gotten warped..

I am SOOOOOOOO frustrated! Couldnt make any Easter Shirts for my kids or anything...The messed up hook is catching all the thread and it's getting caught and breaking...

I guess I need to buy a new one...does anyone know a place to order them? I really dont want to have to take it to the local babylock dealer b/c they are outrageous and very snobby...

Any suggestions...I read a forum about taking an emery stick and smoothing it out..but i'm scared to do anything 2 mess the machine up further....

Did you get an answer to your question?

If not, look up "babylock" and "bobbin casings" and you should be able to purchase supplies/ replacement parts online.
