I have never had a problem with my kids weight or how much they eat until my twins. They were preemies and one only weighed 2 # at birth. Now at the age of 4 one is 36# and the other is only 25#. The smaller has lost about 5# over the last two weeks, she was at 30#. She is the picky eater and only eats small portions at a time ,but she is eating. What can I do to help her gain "healthy" weight? We make our own juices and smoothies, is it safe to add a protein powder to hers?

My son is 6 1/2 and he's only 45lb and jus got to that recently, his doctor doesn't see anything wrong with his weight and I know a lot of children that are around the same weight. So I wouldn't stress it that much some kids are jus little!
