What Motivates You?

Is there anything you do to keep yourself going when trying to lose weight? Some women have short term motivators such as a picture of a skinny model on the fridge, others have long term motivators such as fitting into a piece of clothing.

What works for you and why?

Going to weight watchers and staying for the meetings help me. It's very motivating to see other peoples success.

Lately nothing has been motivating me lol, but usually pictures of myself when I was thinner can motivate me!

My baby! I want to be active for him. I also have three big trashbags full of size 12 clothes that I refuse to get rid of because my goal is to fit into them again.

The whole top shelf of my closet is filled with my "skinny clothes". I have 12's, 10's and even one or two 8's that were from high school. I would love to get back into some of that stuff!

My cut off age for having children is 35 and I am turning 34 this year and would like 1 more.

My motivations are my children, my really fit hubby and feeling better and more energized. I mess up all the time but I have them here always to remind me what my goals are.

My son.  I want to be active for him and with him and give him siblings at much less of a risk than what I carried him!

I keep a post it note on the dash of my car with two messages meant to keep me on track. One says, "you are your daughter's most important role model" and the other says, "Catelyn deserves the best version of you". They give me something to think about on my long commute.
