This is probably posted SOMEWHERE...but why not post it again eh? I am a first time mom. My son is 2 years and 2 months. I have tried timed toileting with him this past couple weeks but he doesn't go on the potty at all. I'm not sure if he doesn't get it yet? Should I be pushing it or just waiting? How do I know if he is ready? He will sometimes tell me he has pooped, but not very often. He may just not be ready and I'm pushing him, but I don't know how to know...LOL!
ANY advice/help would be AWESOME! Thanks ladies :)

I have a girl and I just potty trained her. It takes a ton of patience and I also did a lot of research on various methods. I wound up just staying home for 3 days and putting her in underwear. There were a LOT of accidents, but at the end of the 3rd day she was totally potty trained.
I would definitely make sure he is ready before doing anything that drastic. Some of the signs of readiness are showing an interest in the potty and asking to be changed. If you google potty readiness you can find more signs to look for.
Good luck! It is a daunting task, but in the end you will be happy :)
