I'm getting married next year and trying to loose some weight. I don't wanna be thin, but at least 70 lbs lighter. I've had 2 children with whom I've had 2 c/s; I always had a pouch, but now I have a belly apron. I feel so unattractive; I don't feel like this is part of my body, and I wanna get rid of it. Does anyone have any suggestions besides surgery?

You can't spot reduce-so all you can really do is start eating right and exercising. I started 3 months ago and have lost 30 pounds. I carry a lot of weight in my stomach too and it seems to be shrinking at a slower pace then anywhere else lol.

If you want more suggestions, I'd be willing to share, I just don't want to force it on you.

I've been doing weight watchers since January. I've lost 37 pounds and I swear none came from my stubborn belly lol. I find drink LOTS and LOTS of water helps and cardio. I dred sit ups and crunches but try to do them at least once a week. It's shrinking but much slower then the rest of me lol

I've read that while we lose all over proportionately, it doesn't look like we are losing from the place we carry the most weight, because we carry the most weight there. That makes sense to me.

You sure it isnt scar tissue from the 2 C-sections?  If so, the only solution may be surgery to remove it.  If it isnt scar tissue, I have had wonderful results with going low carb to get rid of my pooch.
