My Mom and her Psycho Babble

My mom has bee riding me for years to diet.  "You used to be so pretty" she says, " You could be so pretty" or "No one wants to hire a fat person."  Anyway, she is always on some fad diet(she is obsessed with being thin and is skin and bones)that she is trying to get me on; first it was slimfast then the 6 day body make over(they take your body type and have a diet for you), then calorie counting, then something else.   2 years ago she started the eat right for your type diet; this one is froma  book, you find your blood type then they give you a HUGE list of things you can't eat and a small list of things you can.  She has been pushing this craziness on me for 2 years and no matter what I do she pushes it.  I started a slimfast diet and walking and dropped so much weight she didn't recognize me in a parking lot, she says"doesn't it feel good?  you could lose faster if you did eat right for your type."  I gained a bunch back when I hurt myself,  Recently I have had problems and I was telling her I don't understand what is going on as I have been eating the way I did when I was prego and I am still gaining gaining gaining(I gained very little prego and fit into pre prego jeans the day I went home and she always tells me I should still eat like that), she tells me she doesn't want to hear it because if I would just eat right for my type...  Now I am counting my calories and have lost 1/2lb in 3 days, I am pretty hapy about this and she goes off about how all the chemicals kill your enzymes that eat the fat and I need to watch the chemicals.  OMG!  No wonder I am soooo flipping fat, I get so discouraged between her and DH(he is another story).  AHHHHH!

I hate being fat

I CAN'T WAIT TO BE SKINNY AGAIN!!!!  I am soooo damn sick of being fat, being descriminated against being scoffed at getting dirty looks because i eat something in public.  I am tired of wearing fat clothing, why does it have to cost $2 more because it's a 2x instead of an xl?  Also why does all the contemporary fat clothing have to cost WAY WAY WAY mroe than the old lady fat clothing.  If I go to Walmart to buy clothes I look like I am wearing my grandmother'r frocks.   But if I go somewhere like Torrid I have to buy last season(yup I want to wear a sweater in the summer)off the clearance or pay an arm and a leg.  Now Fashion Bug does have some cute things and I have purchased from there recently, but, just because they MAKE it is my size doesn't mean I should wear it.  I can't wait to lose weight so I can have a breast reduction, 38HH is way way way too big, I want to be a 36 full C again, if I want them to look bigger there are bras @ Victoria's Secret to help me with that.

I totally understand,  I was the typical chunky little girl with baby fat that would have melted off of me had my parents left me alone, they were forcing me to diet from age 10 they  thought they were helping me but instead of altering how everyone ate they just gave me things that tasted like saw dust and had me set at the table while they ate their fattening meal of fried everything , later my mom took me to a diet dr who gave me speed to lose wt lol so I hear ya sister. My mom keeps calling me and giving me tips I now just make up an excuse to get off of the phone with her when she does that  she is getting the hint  and it's slowing down.

I'm just gonna do  my own thang 1200 cal's a day eating anything I want so that it's really realistic and something that I feel that can and will work for me as long as I stick with it and if I stumble one day I'll get back on the right track.

90 LBS in 09 thats my goal

I hate the word "Diet" because I need to go on one.  I'm 5'4" and weigh about 185 lbs.  I want to lose 25 to 30 pounds.  I was never real thin.  So a little chubby is fine with me.  Plus, as you get older if you're too thin you look older than what you really are.  I belong to a gym.  Need to work out and stay on a low cal. diet.  So hard.  A struggle all my life.

I hate that no matter what it is that I do I can't seem to lose the weight. I think there is something in my DNA that makes me fat. I have been dieting since the first of the year and I have only lost 5 lbs. I eat really well, but I do mess up once in a while, not it's not a enough to make is so I don't lose anything. I can't stand it any more I have to lose the weight I can't stand being this person any more. I know I didn't put it all on really fast that I cna't expect it to come off really fast but I would hope that what I have been doing is at least going to help me move slowly and showing results every once in a while at least more then 5 lbs in 4 months. I don't know what I can do to change it. I am going for a phyisical on wednesday so I am hoping that I get some answers from there. I just wish that taking it off was as easy as it was to put it all on.

You may be like my mom and her best friend they both have to do a week of 500 calorie days to jump start their bodies into losing weight now I am not recomending this but thats what some have to do to trick their bodies into starting the burning of fat if you plan on doing this consult your DR

The 5lb day

How is it that I weigh myself yesterday morning and I had only gained about 2lb in my weekend and this am it says I gained 5lb since Thursday?  I admit I was really evil: Buffalo Wild Wings, Old Chicago, HUGE pancake egg and bacon breakfast, Chinese food, Skinny Cow, Chips, those were ALL prior to yesterday and that read 2lbs.  YESTERDAY I had french toast, a slice of Hot Lips pizza and ONE doughnut at Voodoo Doughnuts.  And I suposedly gained 3lb in ONE DAY?!?!?!  WTF?!?!?  UGH!

So I've always been on the bigger side.  I used to work out for an hour and half everyday and eat a pretty good diet all to get to 245, smallest I've been since junior high.  While I was pregnant I was able to lose a few more pounds, and didn't gain any weight until I got toximia and then I gained 20lbs.  After I had my daughter I lost 35lbs.  Then I don't know what happened because once she started sleeping through the night I started working out, and I've changed my diet to be healthier.  However in the past 3 months I have been putting on weight like crazy.  I got down to 240 and now I'm up to 283 despite all of my efforts.  I'm ready to give up.  I went to the doctor's last week and she ran some tests, so hopefully something will come of that, but it's driving me nuts, and I don't know what else to do.
