so starting on the first I am going to start monthly pic posts and weekly weight posts again. I have been feeling rather depressed and it is taking a tole on me. I have gained back all the weight I lost so I am back on...I hope. I start school on the 8th and I have stairs there to climb, I will be using them on breaks and every other chance I get. I will also be posting weekly menus, starting today, please feel free to post yours as well, I will be posting this as a sticky every Sunday(even though today is not Sunday I will start today). Let's try to make healthy choices in those dinner menus.

Well if it isnt monthly then it is pregnancy (::crossing fingers::) but I was on a sugar high all day today, literally chocolate, regular soda and cookies! Kinda my Mom's fault because as long as it isnt in the house, I am fine but once there, I am a sugar fiend! I am planning on getting back on the horse and right now I just start with small goals like under 200 lbs (I am probably at 208 after today). Remember make every inaction into action--if you fidget for an hour, that will burn approximately 120 calories, so even small movement counts in the long run. I am in a desk job, so while at my desk, I fidget (move my legs) in half hour increments and it could end up for like 3 to 4 hours but based on 120, that is an extra 360 calories burned which otherwise would have been little to nothing. While making copies, I step in place and during my lunch hour I also exercise. They recommend making at least 10k steps every day, so start counting!

1) Caffeine speeds up metabolism plus gives you the energy kick!
2) Capsaicin (found in hot peppers) speed up metabolism
3) Muscle burns approximately 50 to 75 calories more per pound of muscle gain
4) All movement burns calories, not just exercise that makes you sweat
5) Reduce carbs so your body burns fat for energy!
Good luck girl..will do the same.remember to drink.lots and lots and lots of WATER plenty of FRUITS AND VEGGIES.if you are going to exercise in the morning do so BEFORE you eat so your body will burn energy all day long.when you eat drink hot plain green tea it helps and in the evening exercise one to two hours after eating.and like the op said don't wait start tomorrow.![]()
I hear ya I lost 50 lbs this summer but with the torn acl in my right knee I have't been very active so I gained 20 of that back so now I am again back on the band wagon doing atkins and p90x as well as I can I am up to 30-45 mins of it depending on the workout I wanna get under 200 lbs so thats my first goal. I have been lucky enough to be loosing weight ever since I had dd. i weight befor ei got prego was 288 and im at 270 right now,ust got me a new basketball and football last night though to get more active again, gotta take it slow though since im still recovering from knee surgery but i shot hoops for a good 30 min last night then had to ice the knee
