Drink your 8 glasses of water DAILY.  Please post your daily progress, whether you get all 8 or not.

40 oz here! dunno how many 8 oz glasses that is im drinking from a 20 oz bottle but that 40 oz is wayyy more then ive been drinking so go me!!

that's 5!  I drink from a 24 oz gatorade bottle but I jsut got back my 20 oz Eddie Bauer bottle so I will be going at it on that from now on.

I drank 48 fluid ounces here!!!! 6 glasses I drink out of a water bottle that is half a liter ... so really I drank 3 water bottles which is about 50oz or just over 6 cups... I hope to drink atleast 4 water bottles tomorrow (later today) to make the goal...


There are 16.9070113 fluid ounces in 0.5 (one-half) of a liter.

Again yesterday I regret to say I only drank 6 cups but today I am already at 8 cups and its only 2pm!!!

On Monday & Tuesday I drank 100 ounces of water. So far today (Wed) I have drank 60 ounces with another 8 hours left.

  1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. ( Likely applies to half the worlds' population.

  3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as 3%.

  5. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pains for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
  6. Preliminary researches indicates that 8-10 glasses of water daily could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
  7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
  8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of Breast Cancer by 79%., and one is 50% less likely to develope Bladder Cancer. Are you drinking the amount of water you should drink every day?
  9. To estimate how many cups of fluids your body needs daily just divide your body weight in pounds by 2. This will give you your daily fluids requirement in ounces. Dividing the ounces by 8 gives you the number of cups you have to drink. For example, a woman weighing 128 lbs would require: 128/2= 64 ounces, 64 ounces/8 = 8 cups of fluids.
