I know I am getting ahead of my self but.....any helpful hints for the Holidays.
My holidays are slammed full. We are one family for Thanksgiving and the other for Christmas, we also have a cookie bake with his family and a full day of just baking with mine. In the middle of all this is my daughters birthday.
I have been doing my baking days with my mother since I was little.....here is my problem, I love everything we make, from Peanut Butter balls to Fudge to several different kinds of cookies we do it all. I am thinking about trying the a batch of Fudge with Splenda, that is for my mom who doesnt use sugar anymore, and I was also thinking about using dark choc and White choc for the Peanut Butter balls, the Dark for my mom and the white for me, I dont like dark choc all that much but white is so rich I can only eat a little before it gets to be too much so that would cut back on the amount that I would eat. I have been known to eat about a dozen in a day when we are baking.
I am trying to start putting a list of Items we are going to bake this year together, and was wondering if anyone had any good recipes for more healthy treats for the holidays, and besides keeping a bottle of water nearby(which I already plan to do cause it lowers my need to snack). Any other helpful hints on how to cut back on my holidays munching.
Thanks for any help. I cannot give up these traditions however I need to curb my desire to eat everything we make.
