DH will be home from his deployment right before the holidays, and we all really want to go somewhere around Christmas.
He always talks about Branson at Christmastime and so I was thinking of planning a trip there.
Any suggestions? Places to stay? Tips?
Thanks so much
I would rent a cabin in Eureka Springs. They are cheap that time of year and it's only a 45 minute drive.
I have heard that Silver Dollar City is gorgeous during Christmastime. We've been to SDC several times but never during that time of year so that is our goal this year. There is just SO MUCH to do, it's really up to your interests. As for a place to stay, there are MANY places to stay right in Branson. There have been times we've gone up without even making reservations and still got a great room for good price. www.bransontraveloffice.com has good discounts and package deals. They do have a timeshare deal, but it's not required to get any of the discounts. (When we went up this summer, they only brought up the timeshare thing AFTER we had paid for our tickets. If we had done it, we would have gotten $100. We couldn't because it required a check and we had only brought our debit cards with us.)
my last trip to Branson I stayed at the Raddison and loved it there. They have a lot of ammenities right there on site.
