Hi there,

I would tell you from experience, It's best to wait until after your post-op visit to the doctor. That's great that your feeling so good already and "in the mood".

It takes several weeks for things to heal, and if you were to have an orgasm it may hinder that healing do to the muscles contracting and so on.

I know it's hard to wait, but if you dont it could lead to further complications and possibly an even longer recovery time and wait.

Try using the time to reflect on things, take care of yourself, get a good book if you like to read, indulge in pampering yourself and relaxing.

After my hysterecomy, my Mom kept our son quite a bit so that I could full recover. My husband and I really reconnected during that time..We cuddled up for movie nights and takeout (make sure you get movies that arent going to rev up those hormones!! lol), we also was able to sit down and talk about the future, where we was heading, etc..due to having time stop for a little while, with our son gone and me not worrying about work. It really got us bonding on a deeper level again, and by the time I was ready to be intimate in that way, it was amazing, and perhaps even better than before my hysterectomy.

I hope that helps some
