Im offering this post for anyone who may have a question that they haven't gotten to ask about homosexuality, be it because they are too shy or simply haven't had the opportunity. So if anyone has any questions, nothing is off limits.

I have always wondered if gay men were able to "perform"  with women, or are they totally turned off?  Are lesbians never attracted to men or do they just prefer women? I have heard of gay men iving their lives as stright men, having wives and children and all that...

I know gay men on both sides of the spectrum, some have been with women but later realised they were more interested in men and some have never been able to touch a woman in a sexual way. It is generally accepted that the whole human population falls somewhere (between 0-6) on the Kinsey scale. This is the scale that determines the homosexual or heterosexual leanings in a person. From what I remember, less than 10 % of the population put themselves at 0 or 6, everyone else falls somewhere in between.

The same goes for women, there are some that had been with men thier whole lives and therefore assumed they were straight but then later on realised thier true feelings and some never even looked at a man in a 'loving' way.

To your last question yes, there are many men (not sure on a percentage) who live double lives. Its not just on daytime talk shows, its a real thing. A lot of this confusion comes from our overly repressive sexual attitude we carry here in US culture. Many ppl waste thire lives with the wrong ppl because of the 'expectaions' put onto them by those around them.

Its important to remember that homosexuality is not about sex, its about love. Of course sex has to do with it because unless you believe at love at first sight then sexual attraction is important for a romantic relationship to begin. But two men in love couldn't choose to love a woman (or even another man) that they didn't love. Make sense?

I get it...I guess it is hard to understand unless you are close to it. I agree that most people fall somewhere in between, even I have been atracted to a woman before. I even had an "experiment" as a teenager, lol.For some reason it is easier for a woman to do that than a man. Because of my religious convictions, though, I seperate myself from the temptation and choose to love women as friends. I always thought it had something to do with lacking intimacy from a woman, in my case, because I didn't have a mother. I know it is different for everyone, and I guess I should be more understanding....thanks for your input!
