by on Jun. 30, 2008 at 10:59 AMA couple weeks ago my daughters came to stay with us for the summer. While packing up all their clothes and belongings, I also grabbed my 7-year-old's bike. It was too tiny, with training wheels, but mainly had a flat tire and was rusted. (The ex didn't take care of it for her). My BF promised to fix it for her. While considering this, he decided it was time for her to have a bigger, better bicycle. She has been a bit impatient on this and tried riding the old one. Despite his using the air compressor to pump up the old tire, it just wasn't working. So, he had me take him to Target to get a new one. So, we did. In the above photo, he is adjusting the seat for her. It was so sweet. She was so excited and practiced riding without training wheels for the first time even though it was dark and getting late. All this happened while he was drunk. There is no "proof" statement good or bad here.... just a simple example of what a wonderful man he is. The fact that he was in fact drunk of course annoys me, as I wish every time he is, that he wasn't.
