Carseat question

I've had John in a rear facing infant carrier carseat up until now and all was well. Since he's grown quite a bit since they first put him in the brace, today it had to be widened to again be shoulder-width apart at the screws.  Now his feet are too wide for the carrier.  Any suggestions to keep him comfortable?  I've put a rolled up blanket under his feet, but I'm not sure that won't make his lower back hurt.

We had the same problem.  We used a rolled up blanked too, someone gave us a carseat they had and it must have been shorter or something so it worked better then when his legs got longer we went back to the original carseat.  Just stick with the rolled up blanket thing I think.  Pretty soon his legs will be longer and you won't need it.
