I am in search of Moms with Babies that have Metatarus adductus!

My son is 18mths old, We are told we can either serial cast and then do the Denis Brown Brace or do nothing. Please help. I have found in research that serial casting is almost never done past 6 mths old.

My son has a more sever case of the club foot but I would have it treated like it was a big case of the clubfoot honestly... We use the ponsitie method and the shoes also  it's the best way to fix the foot my hubbys parents put his shoes on backwards to fix his feet

We did casts, and braces. Started at 4 months old, she is 13 months old and still in braces at night. We go Monday for her check up.

I suggest OVER doing it rather than not doing enough! Good luck!!!

my daughter is 16 months old and was diagnosed with metatarsal abductis at 10 months old. The only treatment they said to do was to put her shoes on the wrong feet. Her toes still bend in but she wears shoes just fine and has no issue walking. Is there a reason you want to do something about it?
