Hi! Im new :) My son now 4 months old was born with bilateral clubbed feet and from 2 weeks old until 10 weeks old he had the casts and now he has the boots and bars and I dont know who hates them more....Me or Him!

Try the Mitchell shoes that are made by MD Orthopedic. They are MUCH more comfortable and MUCH easier to put on correctly than the Markel shoes. If your orthopedist doesn't offer them you can order directly from MD Orthopedics (I don't have the number right now but they do have a website also). I think you and your son will both be much happier with them.
Thank you. But the browns shoes were nearly $400! I know I didnt pay for them but still Im not going to waste them. Im in Canada so Im sure the number you have wouldnt help lol.
I just need to be more consitent with them. I can count on both my hands how many times he has actually wore them for the last month or so. I feel like I have to choose between breast feeding him or keeping the shoes on.
Ps...I couldnt stand that they were purple so we spray painted them black and blue lol

my son is 5 weeks old and has had 4 cast changes , he needs 2 more and is having surgery on Jan 31 then casts for 3 weeks straight and boots.....im not looking forward to the boots ! How long does he have to wear them ? I was told 3 months 24/7 and then jhust at nap and bed time
i was told you will have to do more casts and treatments on his feet if you dont keep them on ??
