sleeping with casts

i recently had my baby boy (9/2/09) and today we had the first set of casts put on.  He has bilateral club feet and we decided to go with Ponseti method.  His casts are just above his knees so he isn't able to move his legs that much.  For those who have been in the similar situation, what did you find to be the best and most comfortable way for him to sleep?  I've noticed when he sleeps he'll try to move his legs and wake up crying, so i wanted to see if someone had any tips for us?

Thank you in advance

What worked for my son was putting either a pillow or roll up towel under his knees that way his feet are raised and he dont cry cause he cant get them  up

Put a pillow or rolled blanket or towel under his legs. The casting pretty miserable but it will get better!

We had several options that worked.

rolled up washcloth or hand towel under the knees, my son really slept best in the bouncy seat and swing.

we were in survival mode and just did whatever we could to get him to sleep :)
