My dh and I found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting our 5th baby!!  The kicker, I had my tubes cut, tied, and burned after dc#4 was born around 14 months ago!!  I got pregnant w/in a month of weaning her (around her 1st bday)  I've had 2 natural births and 2 c-sections.  (1 was emergency and 1 was semi-planned)  I would really REALLY like to try for a VBA2C.  The recovery from my last c-section was sheer misery!  My kids are aged 7, 5 (dec 23), 4 (dec 4), and 1

  • LOL The same way anyone gets pregnant--having sex ;)

My doctor says the just "grew back", but I don't know....it doesn't happen very often.  There's around a 1% failure rate!

  • That baby is going to do something great! I can't help but to think that it defied all odds of being conceived and him or her is meant to be here! You are very blessed! Congratulations!!!!

  • Thanks, ladies!  We're excited about it.  I do have mixed feelings--some anxiety about the delivery and first year of breastfeeding--but aside from that, we feel God has blessed us again!
