My dh and I found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting our 5th baby!! The kicker, I had my tubes cut, tied, and burned after dc#4 was born around 14 months ago!! I got pregnant w/in a month of weaning her (around her 1st bday) I've had 2 natural births and 2 c-sections. (1 was emergency and 1 was semi-planned) I would really REALLY like to try for a VBA2C. The recovery from my last c-section was sheer misery! My kids are aged 7, 5 (dec 23), 4 (dec 4), and 1
My goodness! There must be big plans for this sweet little one! :) Congratulations - look forward to reading your VBA2C story!!

LOL The same way anyone gets pregnant--having sex ;)
My doctor says the just "grew back", but I don't know....it doesn't happen very often. There's around a 1% failure rate!
Quoting DoriNYC:congrats!! but how did you get pregnant with your tubes tied, cut AND burned?
Oh my goodness... what's meant to be will be, I suppose! I never thought this was possible. I'm planning on getting my tubes tied after this one... hmm... maybe hubby should get his too then... thanks for sharing!

That baby is going to do something great! I can't help but to think that it defied all odds of being conceived and him or her is meant to be here! You are very blessed! Congratulations!!!!
~If God wanted us all to be them same, He wouldn't have made us so different.
Thanks, ladies! We're excited about it. I do have mixed feelings--some anxiety about the delivery and first year of breastfeeding--but aside from that, we feel God has blessed us again!
