Ok.. so I haven't been on here in forever.. and I havent' even told my family yet.. but many of you are such a part of my "birthing life" that I thought I would tell you all that I'm pregnant with number 3.. due early May.
I had been planning on doing a HBAC, before I got pregnant. I had e-mailed a midwife a few times, but I just didnt' get a warm fuzzy feeling about her... so I did some research on a local hospital (not the one I delivered at before.) One of my friend's VBACed there 3 times. Did some research, and found it's the most "vbac friendly" hospital in the state, and I contacted the Dr. that ICAN suggested as the most VBAC friendly. He saw me the next day!! (unheard of around here.. you're usually waiting weeks to see a new OB). He started the conversation with "so you tell me how we are doing this birth.. you after all are in charge!" I've only had one appointment, but so far I like him, and my VBAC friend had nothing but positives to say about the hospital.
Not sure I'll be on much, but I wanted to check in. I still think of you all often!
Sounds like a good appointment and a good doc to me....I am due late may with my 2nd...hoping for a vbac as well. I am also birthing at a hospital and have a new ob. The first question my new doc asked me was what do you know about vbacs?
