Morning!

Hi there, Iam a single mom, and senior care giver.  Rready to take phlebotomy classes in April. Iam temporarily working 60hrs a wk to make ends meet, and be prepare financially when the time comes to go to school. Withe my busy schedual I would so much would like to get a heads up of stuying prehand before taking classes about phlebotomy terminology, anything that would help..or anyone that has taken this coars. If anyone is willing to give a helping hand I would really apreciate it..Thanks, Syl baby dust

I took a phlebotomy course as part of my med tech degree. We had an online lesson that showed videos and quizes afterward. Really they just want you to know the good spots to go. How to use aseptic technique and which tubes you draw first to prevent contamination. It's not hard.

Whatever you do don't take short cuts there are reasons they want you to do it a certain way. The lab may need a specimen to stay out of light so it needs to be covered. Phlebotomy is easy. You'll do great!
