Question about Eucerin. I've used it and now have started to use it on my dd's hotspots. It looks like it alleviates the ITCHING but the skin is left REALLY DRY. Does that happen to your kids also or is it just my imagination? I have a hard time finding something that moisturizes AND calms the itching.
It has worked great on my dd, but is expensive. It leaves her skin soft. She has used it for about 2 months..
I don't like Eucerin cream. It is way too greasy. Our dermatologist recommends Udderly Smoothe cream and it has been so great!!! Plus it is wayyy cheaper!
Hi there. I know what you mean about these products leaving skin still dry once it goes away. My son G is 5 and had the worst eczema ever. From head to toe. He suffers badly. Over the last 5 years my life has revolved around his special skin. He is so often uncomfortable and I know you can relate. I have been using Arbonne Baby Care products on him for a while now. I read countless success stories about these products helping kids and adults to deal with flare ups and to moisture their extremely dry skin. So I tried them and love them. Aquaphor and Eurcerin are all mineral based and mineral oil is not good for your skin. It just sits on the surface and does not penetrate. Do a search online and you will find this. I actually have a home based business with Arbonne as well so please let me know if you want me to send you a free sample of the products. I have so much faith in them and see how many people they have helped already. They have the best ingredients and if your little one is sensitive to any specific ingredient, it is on the package. No chemicals, dyes or fragrance. I would be so happy to get them into your hands and see if it helps you too. My little guy has been doing really great with these products. Wishing you the best of luck, Laura
I have had eczema all my life and, for the past year or so, developed it on my hands. I have used the eucerin cream and several store brands. I think they all do an equal job. Last time I bought some, I got the equate brand in ointment form by accident. I used it anyway and my eczema has never been better! Seriously, that was the best mistake I have ever made!
